Athletic Field Day
Athletic Field Day is Friday, February 2nd from 8:30-11:00 for K-2 classes and from 12:00-2:30 for grades 3-5!  Each year classes are assigned a Greek City State for their team.  This year, your child’s team is Athens, and our team color is red. Your child may wear a plain red shirt (no logos) with their uniform bottoms: pants or skirt.  There will be no school lunch offered on Athletic Field Day.  Please send your child to school with a lunch.
Volunteers for Athletic Field Day
In order to have Athletic Field Day run smoothly, we need your help!  Coach Gethings & Coach Warren need volunteers setting up and running the event.  Please sign up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d4aaeae2fa0ff2-athletic to help with the events.  We need a few volunteers for class to help with donating a cooler and snacks.  Please sign up here to volunteer for our class.  

Lunch:             Please have lunch in your classroom at 11:00.  There will be no school lunch.  Please have students bring a lunch from home.

5/20-5/24 Last Week!

Parents, as we finish up this week, please expect your child to be bringing home their desk materials little by little. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are all half days, with dismissal time at 12:05. Friday is the last day of school! End of the Year Party Our end of the year party is Friday 5/24. Planet Project Update

Hello Families! Today was research day for our planet project and the students had a little over an hour to research information about their assigned planet. Many scholars were able to find plenty of information and fill up the research sheet, however there are also many scholars that could benefit from some additional help. We will be using this information to write an essay later this week, so it is important that they have enough information written on their research sheet. We used these websites: National Geographic and  Nasa . If you are able, help your student to peruse these sites for details about their assigned planet and fill in the information on their research sheet. Thank you so much for your support!
